Dean of Students

Born in Mashava in 1959, Mr. Dzoro did his secondary education at Lower Gweru College and Chaplain High School. He then proceeded to Gweru Teacher’s College to train as a teacher and completed in 1983. Mr. Dzoro then taught at various schools and rose through the ranks to become a Headmaster. Mr. Dzoro holds a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Zimbabwe, a Masters degree in Educational Management from the same institution and another Masters degree in Psychology from the Midlands State University.

Mr. Dzoro left the teaching profession to join Midlands State University in 2002 as the Director of Residences in the Student Affairs Division. He later became the Acting Dean of Students at Midlands State University in 2003 before he decided to become a full time lecturer at the same time.

Mr. Gordon Dzoro assumed duty at the Chinhoyi University of Technology on 27 August 2009. Mr. Dzoro brings to Chinhoyi University of Technology wide experience in students welfare and an understanding of the tertiary education system.

He is married to Maria and the couple has four children.
