A holder of a Bachelor of Arts Degree (UZ) Grad. CE (UZ), Diploma in Public Relations (Harare Polytechnic), Diploma in Journalism (SA), Diploma in Training (IPMZ), Certificate in Management (IPMZ).

With wide experience in University Administration and Marketing activities, Musekiwa worked at the Midlands State University as Senior Assistant Registrar (Admissions and Academic Affairs). He led the Midlands State University aggressive marketing team of its degree programmes countrywide and at national and international exhibitions. He joined the Medical School responsible for field attachment. He was subsequently appointed Director of Information and Public Relations responsible for driving the marketing public relations function of Chinhoyi University of Technology.
