What is an alumnus?
Someone who was a student in a particular school / college / university.Who is eligible?
Membership is based on premise of one having been a student of Chinhoyi University of Technology at al levels. i.e. / Diploma, Degree,postgraduate studies. The Chinhoyi University of Technology Alumni Association seeks to create a strong and engaged alumni community who maintain a lifelong bond with the University. We are the ambassadors of the university and celebrate the accomplishments of both Chinhoyi University of Technology and those of our members. We aim to provide services and benefits for the advantage of Chinhoyi University of Technology and its alumni.Objectives of the Alumni
- Offer mentoring services to students and other Alumni seeking career information.
- Developing the University
- Provide volunteer service to support University Vision.
- Get involved to support and remain a party of the University’s continued excellence in teaching, research and community service.
- Commitment through annual support and consistent giving and involvement among broadest audience in order to identify, recruit and nurture future generations.
- Offer advice to students and extensive engagement with the University within the context of bringing into partnership the schools, the student body and administration.
- Gain full standing within the University community
- Aligning Alumni Vision to the University plan
- Build the perception of the philanthropic worthiness of the University and to create a giving culture.
- Help interested Alumni find ways to serve the University
- Investment in the area of Alumni relations – The concept will permeate all our programming so that our undergraduates will today be able to connect to those of the past so that they can be part of the chain of maintaining connections and create a legacy for future generations.
- Get involved by providing networking events and planning committees
- Alumni therefore become an integral part of the success and future of the University
