About

The aim is to create a 'living & learning environment' which address the quality of life for its students - Coordination of co-groups providing Peer Education, moral, social and spiritual support to one another. Every student admitted into residence must report to the residence to which he/she has been assigned.
Only students who have been accepted by the university will be admitted into residences, provided there is space.
 

Undertaking by Prospective resident students

Your attention is directed to the fact that the Council of CUT require that the student makes an undertaking on the application form for admission to residence, and the form must be completed and signed by both the student & the parent/guardian before being allowed to occupy a room in residence.
 

Resident Students

On campus the housing services are available in 10 Halls of Residence. It is the aim of housing services to provide students with a comfortable learning environment in which personal growth & academic achievement are actively nurtured & fostered. To these ends & activities are provided. Students are encouraged to take advantage of the tremendous opportunities available in residence hall environment and to make residential living & learning an integral part of the college.
 

Resident Equipment & Rooms

On the date of your admission into residence you will be expected to sign a receipt of your room key & the equipment in your room. You will be held responsible for all these items. The university will not be held responsible for any students' personal property lost. It is important that as a student you may sign for a copy of the Residence Rules and Regulations on admission into residence as this governs your stay in the halls. The following items must be provided by the student:-

Towels Blankets Pillow & Pillowcases Sheets Cups/mugs/kettle Plates & cutlery An electric iron Clothes

Non-resident students

The Division of Student Affairs through its Department of Campus Life, Wardens and Non resident Warden will from time to time make frantic efforts to acquire accommodation through its appeals to the Chinhoyi Community.
