His excellency visits CUT stand

The President of the Republic of Zimbabwe who is also the Chinhoyi University of Technology Chancellor His Excellency Cde Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa visited the 2019 CUT Harare Agricultural Show stand on Friday August 23, 2019. His Excellency and Chancellor was taken through the CUT stand that was showcasing the highly successful Cattle Breeding Project whose highlights were the summer and winter cattle lick blocks and the Artificial Insemination Project.


CUT strategic plan 2016-2020

This Strategic Plan would be the third in the history of Chinhoyi University of Technology. As a management tool, it seeks to spell out key priorities for the institution's growth road map, hence allow for the efficient and effective allocation of resources against set targets. Accordingly, the Strategic Plan shall be the basis for monitoring of progress made in achieving the milestones spelt out in the Key Result Areas (KRAs).



Hospitality student conquers africa

A Chinhoyi University of Technology student from the School of Hospitality and Tourism posted another victory and a prestigious award for the University. The Hospitality Student came first beating all Universities in Africa in IMEX Future leaders Forum competitions. The (CUT) student, Brian Mushakwe will now be representing Africa in Germany at the World finals in May after becoming the overall winner at the IMEX Future Leaders Forum Africa Challenge in South Africa

Vice Chancellor's Profile

Professor David Jambgwa Simbi was born on 6 June 1952 near Nyazura. He enrolled at Dowa Council Primary School in 1959, transferred to Nyazura Mission in 1966 and finally Solusi Secondary School in 1970. David’s first employment was as a Technical Laboratory Assistant and Temporary Secondary School Teacher at Solusi after his ‘O’ Levels in 1972. In 1974, David secured a place and enrolled at Glenside Hospital in Bristol, UK for a Mental Health Nurse Certificate at Brunnel College. ...more
