The 14th Chinhoyi University of Technology Graduation Ceremony held on Friday October 5, 2018 proved to be the real key in “unlocking human capital for innovation, industrialization and modernization” when a massive crowd witnessed yet another resounding ceremony that included graduands, their parents and invited guests providing a memorable send off during a blistering hot afternoon. Long after the 1 583 graduands were capped by the President and Chancellor Cde Emmerson Dambudzo Mnagagwa, ululations- camaraderie, a conviviality of old college mates; could be heard reverberating in the streets of the sleeping yet farming town of Chinhoyi. It was one Graduation Ceremony that had a huge turn-out ever as most locals and colleagues from sister Universities jostled to have a glimpse and witness the flawless organization of the 14th Graduation Ceremony of the University since its inception in 2002.

PRESIDENT MNANGAGWA CAPS 1 583 GRADUANDS

The second Republic of Zimbabwe President and Chancellor of Chinhoyi University of Technology Cde Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa capped a record 1 583 graduands during CUT’s 14th Graduation Ceremony at the Sports Fields on Friday October 5, 2018. Two hundred and twenty (220) were from the School of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, eighty-six (86) from the School of Art and Design, one hundred and forty-five (145) from the School of Engineering Sciences and Technology, seven hundred and seventy(770) were from the School of Entrepreneurship and Business Sciences, seventy-five (75) from the School of Hospitality and Tourism, thirteen (13) from the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and twelve (12) were from the School of Wildlife, Ecology and Conservation. A total of three hundred and thirty one (331) graduands graduated with first class, taught Masters, Master of Philosophy degrees and Doctor of Philosophy degrees.
