OBJECTIVES

Train and produce dynamic and creative business professionals that are compatible with the ever-changing global business environment. Initiate and promote business related research that benefits the country and the business fraternity. Develop and nurture entrepreneurial and business management skills in order to promote the indigenous business sector. Create strategic and synergistic relationships with local and international business stakeholders,to keep abreast with global trends.

Departments

Programme Durations

All degree programmes are four-year full time courses of study except Bachelor of Technology Education, which takes two years. Each academic year is made up of two semesters and at the end of each semester, examinations are taken for the courses covered. The Diploma programmes are three year full time courses of study. The students are on attachment for at least eight months during the second year.

Entry Requirements

Degree Programmes:
All prospective students must comply with the General Regulations of Chinhoyi University of Technology. Admission requirements are normally at least two Advanced Level Passes in any of the following subjects: Geography, Management of Business, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Sociology, Mathematics,Statistics and Food Studies.
Candidates must have passed 5 'O' Levels including Mathematics and English Language.

Diploma Programmes:
Admission requirements for Diploma programmes are at least 5 'O' Level passes including English and Mathematics.
Candidates who hold relevant certificates and diplomas from approved institutions or who have relevant industrial experience and are at least 25years old may be considered for either special or mature entry in the degree and diploma programmes offered in the Faculty.
