INTRODUCTION

The Bachelor of Technology Honours in Fuels and Energy, Engineering Degree is a four and half- year full - time programme. The programme focuses on Sustainable Conventional and Non - Conventional Energy Technologies. The programme also provides an economic choice of energy routes through energy management practices and techno- preneurship
 

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

The programme seeks to:-

Comprehensively address a wide range of fuels and energy resources taking cognizance of their technical, economic, social and legislative aspects. Produce fuels and energy graduates with techno - preneurial skills and the ability to develop and manage sustainable energy systems that are relevant to societal needs through research.

Qualifications for entry to programme

Normal Entry:
Candidates should:-

Have passed at least 5 subjects at Ordinary Level including Mathematics. Normally English Language at Ordinary Level would be a requirement Entry requirements for acceptance are good Advanced Level passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, or acceptable equivalents

Special Entry

Have passed at least 5 subjects at Ordinary Level including Mathematics and English Language Hold at least a National Diploma in an approved Engineering field or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions. The University should also be satisfied that candidates would be able to complete the programme. Candidates may be required to sit for entrance tests before they are approval.
