MASTER OF SCIENCE IN STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT

Introduction

These regulations must be read in conjunction with the General Academic Regulations for Masters Degree for Chinhoyi University of Technology hereafter referred to as the General Regulations.
 

PREAMBLE

The Master of Science in strategic Management Degree Programme seeks to:

develop the skills and knowledge required by senior management in spearheading development in their organizations provide the graduate with the knowledge and skills to develop business strategies in both the local and international context

OBJECTIVES

The degree programme intends to:

upgrade students` knowledge and skills in nursing equip students with educational and training skills in nursing impart knowledge and skills of adult teaching and learning enable students to design instructional curricula appropriate for the development of nursing manpower

Qualifications for entry to programme

Normal Entry:
  To be admitted to the Master of Science in Strategic Management Degree Programme, a candidate must:

normally be in possession of a good relevant first-degree pass provide two references certifying the candidate's ability and suitability to undertake the Programme have at least two (2) years relevant experience gained in a managerial /supervisory capacity

EXEMPTIONS

No exemptions shall be allowed for any course taken at undergraduate level in any programme of study In exceptional circumstances, the department may recommend to Senate for exemption to be granted to a candidate for courses that have been undertaken at postgraduate level and are deemed equivalent to courses that are offered in the M.Sc in Strategic Management Degree Programme Exemptions shall only be granted for Semester 1 courses and no candidates shall be granted more than 3 such courses
